It had been far too long since that awful fight. Hayner had been keeping to himself, alternating between depression and failed attempts at self-righteous anger, until Kairi had finally called him out on it.
He missed her, more than anything...
So after struggling with what he should say, he just decided to wing it, and, crossing his fingers that she would be there, and alone, he went to Olette's room and knocked on the door carefully, wincing at how loud it seemed.
