Xion doesn't know what happened; the conversation that Roxas and Axel had was locked, so there's no way for her to see it. All she knows is that Roxas is missing, and Sora's worried. He probably only left to be by himself for a while, though she doesn't know why, but after Riku going missing... and Naminé...

She can't help it. She can't not be worried.

And the fact that Axel doesn't remember her makes her nervous. She can't help that, either. In the past, he slowly started to remember her -- But it also took more and more time as it went on. And now...

No. She needs to stop thinking about that. What's important right now is Roxas.

She looks over at Axel and tries to break the silence. "Do you... know why he left?"

Axel shakes his head, disturbed from his thoughts. "No." It is a bit strange, that he'll admit, walking here with someone he barely knows, but she's friends with Roxas either way, so he'll have to put aside his uncomfortableness for now.

Xion nods and looks away. "Okay."

Roxas, where are you...?

When she had her own moments of running away, she found somewhere high up -- a cliff outside of town or a roof. But Roxas... Where does Roxas go? Where has he gone in the past? She sorts through her memories, thinking back to what she can remember...

"Oh!" Xion lifts her head. "We haven't looked on the beach yet."

It's getting really tiring having to deal with all this running away business, and if anything Axel shouldn't be bothering with Roxas right now. It's aggravating, to be honest, and yet no matter what he tells himself he can't just leave the kid alone to do what he wants. It's not that simple.

They walk for a little while longer, silent, but when Xion brings up her suggestion Axel looks up as well to respond.

"What makes you think t'look there?"
