This weekend is recruitment weekend. Yes, just 2 short days until I have to pick up my first recruit. Before I have to sign my life over to the department for four full days. I've been doing a lot of stuff to get ready for this. I've gone over lists of people, trying to match up mentors and mentees. I've organized schedules. I've appealed to the grad students for volunteer drivers. I've gone from lab to lab looking for just one person to help out. I've set up meeting after meeting.
I'm tired.
I want a haircut before I go crazy and shave my head.
I need to do laundry so that I have something to wear to stupid recruitment weekend.
I'm ready for Sunday night.
