005 [Typed]: Replicators?

Where does everything come from here? I mean the food and the clothing, all of that? I know about the requisitions, didn't manage to miss that part. But it's all got to come from somewhere, hasn't it? Is it all from some other dimension, too, just whisked away like all of the people? Is someone on some Earth going to wake up with their couch missing because someone here needed one?

It seems a bit of an odd way to go about things, really, if that's how it is.
