117 to 70... not bad!

Today had to be the best day ever.

First, early release day. Kat and I went to subway to eat then to the Dollar Tree to get stuff for decorations... and some random old lady lectured us the whole time, telling us not to do dope and to go to church! Then we went to Kat's and made awesome posters and banners... and we painted some fly swatters red and yellow.

The meet was exciting. The banners were up and looked hot... though we had some issues with some mean Central girls trying to mess them up! Cheering was great, most years the seniors lead the cheers, but this year they gave that job to me, kat, and aisha. We did the TIDE kickboard cheer and it was FUN! The guys dressed up in body paint and we gave them some swatters to wave. Jessie and Jared came to watch, which made me VERY happy!

This is how the events went: In both my individuals I did ok... to give you an idea of how good Central is... in my 50fr I got my best time ever... and i still got a 5th place! The 100fr I also got a 5th place, but it wasn't my best time.

Best race ever: The 200fr relay. I was starting to feel like crap right before, but my relay team helped get my pumped and Cale said "go crazy" right before we swam. It was an awesome race!!! Every person in our relay kept up with the Central girls, up to Porche, who finished up with a quick touch and won it! Very exciting. I bet I had a good 28 low on that!

Low point: my very last relay, right after I gave all my strength to the 200fr relay... my body decided to take a poop on the 400fr. I was feeling like even more crap but I thought I would get over it like last time. Nope. This time, on the block, I was tasting Kat's mom's cookies... all 5 of them. It took all the energy I had to keep them down during that 100... so my time was pretty bad... but the other girl's didn't do too hot either... we are usually pretty good though. Next time...

Ok, so I admit I like swimming... or atleast the meets. Everyone should come... they are much fun!
