Connor O'Tormey died in battle.
I hated him once. I thought that people like him were the reason we have war in this world. But I know now that it isn't that simple. There's no one reason that war exists, nothing that can just be destroyed to bring world peace.
There were some things we never would have seen eye to eye on, but I never could have gotten to where I am today without his help. In the end, I'd even call him a friend. Then he died, fighting for something he believed in instead of because it's his job.
...I don't think that I'll be able to pilot Arondight by myself consistently any time soon. I'm sorry that I won't be able to help in the upcoming battles, but I'll learn, no matter how long it takes.
