Luna continued to stare hollowly at the near frozen hand that she had curled in her grasp. Her father’s pale remains lay on the metal tray before them, unmoving like his daughter. Behind her, Draco Malfoy watched with slight worry; seeing she hadn’t moved, spoke, and he was beginning to doubt if she had breathed, for the last half hour.
‘Luna, it’s time to go,’ Draco found his voice to be surprisingly soft, as he placed a hand on the girl’s shoulder. Slowly she let go of the limb, turning around to face him with tears shining in her eyes, ‘Oh Draco, he’s dead - Daddy’s actually dead.’
