Wishlist
Step One
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you’re comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 Holiday Wishes.
The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun to medium to really big to fandom things. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want. If you wish for real possible things, just make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends of friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. Here’s the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off the list. You needn’t spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn’t to put people out, it’s to provide everyone a chance to be someone else’s holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it’s your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you’ll have the joy of knowing you made someone’s holiday special.
I figured I'd post this, just in case someone finds an item on this list inspiring :p
1. A Chuck/Bryce or Neal Fanvid
Of any kind. I've always thought that Sugar We're Going Down Swinging fits Chuck and Bryce to a tee, but any vid for these two (especially using some Season 4 or 5 footage from Chuck) would really make my holiday!
2. Fic based on these lyrics
(Yes, these are the lyrics to Terrified by Katherine McPhee - featuring Zachary Levi :) - and, yes, I think of Chuck and Bryce when I hear this song :p But you could write about anyone off my Interests and I'd consider that a gift.)

Oh, how I love our dear, sweet, perfect Chuck :) And oh how I'd love to see him evil and maniacal and kind of gleefully viscious :D

Yeah, I'm not getting this :p But I might as well put this out there...
5. RPS for Angel, Chuck and/or White Collar
6. Artwork or a trailer for any of my stories.
7. Criminal Minds Crossover Fic.
And now for a couple of wishes of a non-selfish, non-fandom-related nature :p
8. Do a real kindness for an elderly person.
If you have a living grandparent, call or write them. Not a quick 'Hello' but, like, twice as long a conversation or letter as you normally would. Stop and talk with an elderly person in your community who you know would appreciate the company or do a favor for your crotchety old neighbor ;)
9. Save a cat.
:p Contribute some time or money (if you have some to spare) to a local no-kill shelter.
10. Read to a child.
Your own. Someone else's. Volunteer at a school or daycare. Have you any idea how many kids I've taught who had never been read to outside of school? Never. That is just sad.
