Random Fic Recs
1. How Many Floors to Realize by lazy_daze Smith/Wesson, which has kinda become like candy for me. This is all kinds of Dean/Sam and Smith/Wesson-y goodness, but the Zach and Cas cameos are really to die for :p
He looked down at the ground. "You -- you know what the weirdest thing about all this is?"
Sam made a choked noise. "Let me guess," he said.
"My car. I mean, really, Sammy. A Prius? I was so proud of its fuel efficiency. I just -- I can't get over that. Fuel efficiency."
2. Valentine's Day Revisited by cosmic. This has a great, holiday-ish feel. The wrong holiday, I know, but all the same :p It's not one of those fics that gives you a glamorized version of Harry and Draco. The boys are their own, imperfect selves from the very beginning - which makes the climax of the fic all the more satisfying.
3. My Other Car Is a 6'4" Hunter by salt_burn_porn I love the concept of the Sampala :D My fingers itch to type something of my own with it. In the meantime, I thank my stars for gems like this one. Hot, cracky fun.
4. Learning to Breathe by jassy3399 AU Wincest that is both sharp and sweet. You'll enjoy spotting the points where this verse veers away from canon and considering why, but more than that you'll enjoy watching Sam - he wears a different skin but the same Dean!worship that canon!Sam wears on his sleeve.
5. Don't Care to Stay Here Long by ariadnes_string This fic accomplishes quite a feat - it crosses SPN with the Star Trek Reboot in a believable way. It offers up many tidbits of awesome, only one such tidbit being the visual of Dean joyriding with a speed-junkie Captain Kirk. *loves*
