Technical Difficulties

The weirdest shit is happening with my avi files... I saved a bunch of old vids to a flash drive way back when. They played just fine on my old computer. But I tried to watch them again just recently and only the audio associated with the files will play. What's that about? :* Is there something wrong with my computer or something wrong with my files? I thought all my software was up-to-date, but maybe I was wrong.
