Some comments:
♦ Having purchased and reviewed Twilight, I've decided that I still think the actors act like they had a good smoke right before filming. They're pretty as all get out, but there's just no escaping it - the cafeteria scene is particularly painful to watch. The apple catch is cool, but both Robert and Kristin deliver their lines like they're about to tottle over on their sides and forget what day it is. Wow. And it's not even that I think it's bad acting... Just an odd creative choice?
♦ And on the topic of creative choices - the music of Twilight? Awesome. I bought the soundtrack. My only bitch is that the best of the two Robert Pattinson songs featured in the movie (Let Me Sign) and the first song that plays as the credits roll (15 Steps) aren't included on the disc I bought. Also, for the first time in ever I was actually looking forward to getting bits of the score with the actual music from a movie, and now I find out you have to purchase Carter Burwell's stuff separate. Crap.
♦ Chuck: still an amazing show. Why do we not know if there will be a season 3 yet? There has to be. I've decided that the girl who plays Sarah is one of the hottest people on the planet. She has crooked teeth. Has anyone else noticed that she has crooked teeth? Somehow that ups her hotness factor exponentially for me. Plus, Adam Baldwin is still hot and I'm developing a thorough crush on Zachary Levi. Put all three together with the antics of Dr. Morgan and the Awesomes and I've got all I could wish for for my Monday night viewing pleasure.
♦ NCIS: Bounce is several episodes past now, but I've got to mention it. How long have the Gibbs/DiNozzo slashers waited for that moment in the stairwell? I nearly squeed myself sick and I'm more of a Tim/Tony fan myself these days (ooh - and considering that, you can imagine my reaction to Love & War! Tim said that he and Tony were perfect for each other and he can't take that back! (Even if he didn't know it was Tony he was talking about.) ;D
♦ Smallville: *groans* I haven't really watched the show at all this season, though I'm sure parts of it are still watchable. But how stupid is the fake-Lex idea? (And, let's admit it, any Lex not portrayed by MR at this point is going to be fake.) They should just let his supposed-death be. Especially now that (squee!squee!squee!) the Rosenbaum seems to have a new project lined up and most likely won't be returning.
♦ Supernatural...
Blood!drinking Sammy... I wasn't expecting it, but it's sorta cool. And Dean is all species of hot getting his torture on :D That said, I hurt for my boys and what they're going through. Plus, the new Alistaire was SCARYSCARYSCARY. Best demon voice ever. I'm sad to see him go, sadistic bastard though he was. Also, Uriel because he and Castiel were a good contrast. And Pam! Because she was just cool and I'm so sick of losing the cool Supernatural side characters. *le sigh* Kripke doesn't learn.
He does give good subtext though :) I think we can just consider Dean/Castiel canon now, no? Castiel was reprimanded for getting too close to his human. And Dean calls Castiel Cas and let Castiel see him cry. Nicknames and being openly vulnerable. In Winchester terms that's, like, a proposal of marriage
