This icon has come and gone from my Userpics page over time. But it has come more often than it has gone - and far more than any other icon. It's a classic for me because it sums up my thoughts on Wesley rather well.

I had a few to pick from for this, but in the end I went with Dean clutching his Bible. How could that not be the most heartbreaking image of all? I don't believe that Dean has ever honestly been an atheist. He's believed. But he hasn't wanted to believe. He has, perhaps, on some level, cursed himself for his capacity to believe. Like believing in the God who let his mom die could be a betrayal of her. Throughout his life, I think Dean has treated God the way an estranged son might treat his father. With measured indifference and a secret longing for an excuse to end the silence, one way or another. To see Dean so frightened for himself - not Sam, not his dad, not the world - that he is begging God for help... That's a powerful moment in an otherwise comical episode. It's like Spock's death scene in that one Star Trek movie. Out of the context, Spock's loss of coordination from radiation poisoning is sad. But in the context of his being a Vulcan, who would never willingly allow himself to make an imprecise movement... Is tragic.
Happiest
I first started to put my icon of J2 smiling at one another here, because the two of them - happy together - is surely a happier happy than you can get with one average person ;) But the boys get enough credit, I think, amongst my icons. Better to give this honor to my Jessica Alba icon. Jessica Alba, my girl!crush of forever. Smiling the cutest little smile :) That's happy-making, right?
Angriest
My MO for handling anger has changed over the years... And I think this shows in my icons. Rather than grabbing a shovel these days :p I am more likely to utter a calm, quiet, utterly serious word. Castiel rolls the way I roll in that respect. Only, like, a thousand times better, because he scares the crap outta people when he is calm and quiet. Which is always, I suppose.

My wee!chesters icon could have fit into this category, but I went with one of my kitties :p A sneaky, sneaky kitty. Cute as a button.
Sexiest
The truth is, I don't honestly know the explanation behind my love of pretty lip icons :p I've never considered myself to have an oral fixation, per se. And if I did, seeing as I like the boys oh so much, my icons should all be about male lips, shouldn't they? (*glances askance at the flash drive containing entirely too many icons (or too few - depending upon your perspective) of Dean chewing pen caps and Michael Weatherly licking his lips*) Hmm. I suppose the point of this meme is not to ask the deep questions, however.
Funniest
This was hard to narrow down, so I went with an icon showcasing a fandom not shown in any of the other icons used here. Plus, it's fun with word choice! Who doesn't love fun with word choice?
Fave Ship
I have other, more suggestive icons. Icons involving nakedness. Icons involving passionate clinches and the exchange of bodily fluids ;p But something about this icon made me almost list it as my sexiest. It is reminiscent, after all, of a fanvid for the pairing done to the song Dirty Little Secret. But, beyond that, there is so much about this pairing that pushes my buttons. The pretty boys, obviously, play some part. But their tragic history... The adversarial nature of their current relationship... and the secret, long-abiding longing that lurks beneath it- Those are the things that swept me into the Clex fandom and won't let me go.

Ah... So hard to choose. I fangirl for Angel, NCIS, Supernatural, Chuck, Clex... And then there are the fandoms that I still love, even if I don't actively watch the shows (or can't or whatever) anymore... But when all is said and done, there was never really any other answer for me to give here. So I gave the one I was meant to.

I love this icon! I've got to start watching How I Met Your Mother. Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan. You can't go wrong. This icon barely beat out wecrash's Twilight icon, which is so very, frickin' cool - with an animation of Bella saying the word "vampire" over a still of the cullen family. Very dramatic.

I never really get the chance to use this one :p But my eyes are open and waiting! I loved Sirk's attitude. Too bad he was evil! Also, I often find myself having to explain metaphor to my students. You know, kids today can be extremely literal. I don't know if it's evolution - into a more concise and efficient method of communication - or regression - into a simpler, more base method. The jury is out!
Best Textless
I find this icon to be laugh-out-loud funny :p And, yet, so expressive of real life. I often feel like falling, prone, into such a position and waiting for the problems of life that have stampeded into the room to trample over me.
Best Stolen Idea
Not sure what is meant here by "stolen", so I went with one of my own so as not to offen anyone else. The text in this is based on a line Lex speaks to Clark on Smallville, in reference to Lana's love for Clark and obsession with him. I thought it would work so well for Harry and Draco, whose obsession with one another is the thing of legends.
