Born Under a Bad Sign
1. God. The mythology of this show kicks ass! I love the thought of demons having once been human. It makes sense, it makes Ruby way more interesting, and it adds this whole new level to the issue of Dean's going to Hell. This was an awesome episode, thanks in most part to this little revealation, and I loved it like woah. That being said, it left me feeling very disquieted and kinda - I don't know - twisty inside :p
Dean: There's really no way to save me from the pit, is there?
Ruby: No.
Gah! And the bit with Sam about trying to be more like Dean, to survive fighting on his own?
Double Gah!
2. A new bad guy is on his way. What - like the current bad guys need help? :p I like the idea. Someone somewhere said that, in their head, Dean is the bad guy rising :D It wouldn't fit with canon as it is, but oh my jeebus! What a thought! Sam vs. Dean as demon messiahs. Oh, it's not even proper what the idea does to me!
3. Next week: Dean with demon eyes. This episode was made for me, y'all?
And speaking of disquieted... Go read fleshflutter's In the Valley of the Shadow. Sam/Jess/Madison/Dean. This is so deliciously disturbing... in that slow-building, subtle way that is so much freakier than a quick, in-your-face creepy.
