another Wes-fic idea inspired by song lyrics
Another song I'd love to read - or write - a Wes fic to is "Ordinary", by Train, off of the Spiderman 2 cd. Actually, I think I could fit them into a series of ficlets set in the same as AU as my drabble, "Portent". I'm just not sure how. Any ideas? Song lyrics below:

[ I could *so* see these lyrics used in a Wes/Angel fanvid. Maybe starting with shots from "Origins" - that's what the "whose eyes am I behind" line most reminds me of - then flashing back to various EarlyWes moments. ]

[ Climbing up the walls... That's very post-Shells, CrazyWesley to me... ]

[ Hmm. The last lines here kinda remind me of Connor. But I'm not sure how that fits in with all the rest. ]

[ For the last bit, if this song *was* put into a fanvid (which I so wish I knew how to make, by the way. Or knew of someone who would make one like this for me :p) there could be some of Wes's coolest scenes. Where he's facing off demons or dusting vamps or conjuring one of his fireballs against Vail.
[ Actually, I'm not quite sure these are the exact lyrics. Some of the words I couldn't make out, so I got them off the internet, but they still don't sound right. You get the idea, though. ]
Actually, I'd also like to write a drabble or something with this line from "Curses and Blessings", from the same cd:
"I picture your face
with every punch I take
every bone I break
is for you..."
All I can come up with, however, would be an Angel POV, post-NFA, and that's been done - and done well - before. I can see these lines for a Wes POV just as soon as an Angel, so that's what I'd like to come up with.
