Game Results
Last night was the Iron Curtain's last game of the 2005 season, and I felt like we went out... as well as could be expected. I'm very proud of the majority of my team. And I liked myself in last night's bout, whereas in the July bout I did NOT like myself.
Needless to say, I'm happy with it.
Oh yeah, we lost, by the way. Something like 113 to 38, I don't know. At least it wasn't 99 points. Sigh.
I did not get put into the penalty box, not once! And I only got four penalties throughout the whole game. Not too bad, if I do say so myself.
It was hilarious, the skaters with the most penalties were Doris Badenov from IC and Elbow Bomb from FTW. It was like, an upset. Quite funny. And we all got to spank Elbow. I made my hand sting, I kinda felt bad.
Went shopping and hung out with my The Jocelyn today, we went to Buffalo Exchange, had chocolate milkshakes at Grill and perused Hydra. No good can come of "perusing Hydra", I knew this going in. I guess it could be worse, I could have spent more than I did...
Oh, also, this morning I bought new sheets and a new comforter, with the help of Ms. Hard Anya who I just happened to run into. And more of these cool wife-beatery tank tops from Target that I am SO coming to love and adore.
Next on the dockett I believe is West Wing or Friends with Pretty Taylor at his new apartment.
Also: For those of you wondering, I lost my phone last night sometime around/during the bout and STILL haven't found it. So if you're frantically calling me or something, it's going to do you no good, considering I have no earthly clue where that damned thing is. Call Jocelyn or call me at work tomorrow, I'll be there from 9am to 5pm. If you need the number I'll email it.
Here's to keeping myself distracted. At least, as much as possible.
