It's finally happened!!

For weeks I've been teetering on the edge of losing 50 pounds, but I've been yo-yoing like crazy and last night at weigh-in I finally tipped the way I wanted it to! Technically I've lost more than 50 pounds, but I'm not picky. Finally hitting 50 pounds meant I got to do a new Body Composition Index. If you don't know what this is, I don't blame you, I had no clue 5 months ago myself. A BCI is really cool though. You step on a scale - well it looks like a scale, to be honest EVERYTHING at the weight center looks like a scale, go figure :) - they input your weight and height and then a little shock, which you don't even notice, goes up through your feet. Then it prints out a bunch of information like your BMI, your Fat %, Fat Free Mass, Total Body Weight, Fat Mass, Total Body Water... it basically just tells you what you are, but it's really to cool to see and compare to others that I've had done. My BMI has fallen almost 9 points and my muscle % is rising with all the working out I've been doing. I've got 3-4 weeks left of being on the program and I'm gonna be really, really good about everything - eating everything that I'm supposed to and especially working out. Taking so many rest days in Seattle really set me off kilter, but I'm on it. I'm gonna hit at least 60 pounds - and it's going to be the greatest accomplishment of my life.... until I hit 70 of course :)

Last night after weigh-in I went to watch the boys play softball. It was quite fun. I didn't find anyone to go with me, but it turned out fine. Nikki and Tarin were there and Maria showed up a little later. Lindy and Roni were there too, but I just don't really know them as well. Anywho, it was great to see Kasey, Mark, Trent, John, and Bob. I saw a few of them at Tony's a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen Kasey since April. After the game we went to the Roadhouse for some drinks. Nikki and I lost at pool to Slim and Bob, but we really should've won. You can ask anyone that was there :)

The next couple of days are going to pass quickly, I think. I have much to do and hopefully will get it done. I work pretty much the entire day tomorrow and then am heading to Ovid to do some laundry and return my Mom's camera. I guess Kellei will be in town, so maybe I'll go to the bar with her or something - we'll see. I have a few appointments and errands to run in the OE on Saturday morning and then I'm working again in the afternoon. I need to go grocery shopping, but I'll save that for after I get out of work on Saturday. Saturday night is unplanned so far, so imagine I won't be doing much, but we'll see. Sunday I work from 7-11 and then am immediately meeting up with my family to go out on the Michigan Princess for dinner and a show for my parents 35th wedding anniversary which is on Monday. Monday I know I work sometime, but then I'm going out for Shaina's Birthday! She's FINALLY turning 21. Thank god. :) That's about as much into the future as I'm going to look for right now.

On a side note, I've been talking to someone lately that I absolutely adore... too bad he's not in town for the summer :( I'll have to see how this develops before I disclose more information than that :)

ciao
