Thank you so much for making last night one of the most memorable nights of my life. I'm going away for quite awhile and it was important to see you all before I left, and you made it happen. I feel so blessed to have friends that care for me like you do, who look at for my best interests, love me despite my flaws, and are willing to come say goodbye even if it means getting off work early. I can't name everyone, so I'll just do a few, but please know even if you're not publicly acknowledged that I am so thankful for you and the difference you've made in my life.
Sidney Franklin: You light up my life with so much joy and laughter, and somehow are always able to pick up my spirits even when I'm at my lowest. I'm thankful for you and our memories together, despite how embarrassing or wonderful they are. Can't wait to make more.
Chance Jackson: You are an amazing friend. I've never met anyone as caring as you, that would put aside his own needs to meet mine first. Thank you for being there for me since the moment I met you, no questions asked. Please never change for anyone.
Kevin Bush: Wow, 10 years and counting. Like I said tonight, I'm going to miss not seeing you every Sunday, but I know you'll go onto do great things. I mean, how could you expect less from a kid who memorized ALL the baseball cards ever made. You are quite a man, Kev.
Scottie: So tonight we said our goodbyes for the next 6 years possibly. Either way, I know we’re both moving forward towards greatness and I’m very proud of you. Thanks for being the big brother that I wanted Brandon to be. I love you.
Darrel Wood: You will always be one of my favorite freshmen, even when you’re a senior. Thanks for all the laughs and good times in front of the Theatre, I’ll never forget you.
Dani Morebello: Wow. That’s pretty much all I can say. You are quite possible the most amazing girl I’ve met in my lifetime. Thanks for always sticking by me, and never leavening me hanging out to dry. Most of my high school memories are with you, and I can’t thank Deerfield enough for casting us together in FOOLS to rejuvenate our friendship. I know we’re not going to fall apart just because of a few miles, so here’s to all the new memories to come!
Jamie Cabral: Thank you guys for putting on that play last night of the life of our friendship, it was amazing. As for you, I love how you’re always my theatre go to, and I can ask you anything and you know it! Plus, I’m thankful for your sense of humor. You never cease to amazing me at the hilarious and ingenious things you can do. As president next year, I know you’ll make a difference and a lasting legacy too.
Kara Blomiley: Thank you so much (both you and Jamie) for introducing yourselves to me at Summerstock. Without you two, I don’t think it would have been bearable. Thanks for coming over to my house at 2am just to talk, for letting me NOT roll down Shadow Mountain, and for just being there to make me laugh or humble me when I needed it. I couldn’t have asked for a better pair (you and Jamie) to spend my high school years with, and hopefully my college years too. Please don’t forget me.
So, that’s about it and I wanted to make it known how much I love you. I know I can’t express it correctly in words but I tried. So, I love every single person who was here last night in the deepest way I could love. Thank you for coming and seeing me off to what is going to be the greatest adventure of my life.
