I hijacked my sister's journal

I hijacked my sister's journal and other evidence of bad-sisterness.

Apologies to thenanda

My sister posted the article I posted regarding the school board guy who wanted anti-gay speakers and such in the schools. Madness ensues.  Neva replies way too much.

So here's one thing I said and a reply behind the cut

Lol I went to the actual journal and had a read, ya lot to say lol! But good stuff, you weren't like babbling or anything!
That person said about the whole anal sex thing, made it sound like only gay people do that, *newsflash* umm......guys and girls have anal sex too!

Yeah, they're not thinking too hard, huh?

Thanks for saying I wasn't babbling. I get so worked up over this this topic.

I think most people do, I mean, it really pisses me off when people are narrow minded, or don't even consider looking at it from someone elses point of view or whatever.

That's the key, being willing to see it from the other person's view. Because unless you can try to put yourself in the shoes of a gay person, and I mean really, and listen to their stories, etc, then you just can't know. And that's what really pisses me off about the "homosexuality is a choice" people, because they just block out any information that goes against their view.

I agree, one of the things that confuses me is that some people think that homosexuality, bisexuality or whatever, is a choice, but does that mean lots of heterosexuals chose to fancy the opposite sex? I just can't imagine sitting there and going, "ok, I think I'm going to fancy only men" what my mind was telling me didn't come into it. It was more that I'd been confused for a while, then I realised that as much as I wanted to stick a label on myself and actually label myself as homosexual, bisexual, or heterosexual I couldn't. I wanted to be heterosexual, but I find some women attractive, it wasn't a choice. It just happened. If it was a choice of what sexuality I wanted to be linked to, I'd be heteosexual as it would kind of put an end to the confusion as I fancy guys more than girls, but it isn't a choice as what I wanted to be wasn't enough to make my mind ONLY be attracted to guys. So I suppose thats what makes me mainly disagree with the 'choice' thing, hehe!

It's safe to say that the incidence of anal sex (and, I think, unprotected anal sex in particular) is much smaller among heterosexuals. Straight people simply have more options. :-P

I don't know. I think that you might need to do some actual surveying to figure that one out.

BTW, Guess who has the least anal sex? Lesbians!!

Where did you find that fact from? I was just wondering since a fair few of my friends only like anal sex (we're girls, we talk about everything!), I can't speak for the rest of the population, but there might be a lot of other people out there who are heterosexual females and are like my friends, who only like anal sex, I wouldn't be surprised if the number was quite high among heterosexuals as although there's the risk of STDs, there's not a risk of pregnancy so much. Might be a preferred position for lots of hetrosexuals :)
