So, Sean said "I'm changing the channel, get ready to cry."
I asked what he was putting on. It turns out it's Myth Busters, a show where they test out urban legends, like will your gas tank explode if you're talking on your cell phone while filling your tank.
Tonight is a tribute to Buster, the Myth Busters' crash test dummy. He's had all his limbs blown off and his head and torso burnt. He's beyond repair, so they're retiring him.
It's just wrong to blow something up after you give him a name.
I also think that ad where the cookie is at a birthday party, only to discover the little girls are going to eat him, I think that's so sad. The poor cookie is wearing a party hat, and he's so excited to be at the party. It's just wrong.
Some things shouldn't be on tv. Yes, you can replay Terminator ad nauseum and violent shows about monsters. But don't blow up defenseless dummies named Buster. And don't put party hats on cookies just so they can realize the only reason they're at the party is to get eaten.
So, yeah, I'm crazy.
And yeah, I realize there are real issues in the world...
