I took a walk

The creepy conversation was related to the garbage truck, like this:

I left my office to go walk by the drainage pond, suddenly I smell the worst smell possible. I look up and theres a truck/trailer thingy full of garbage, but the truck cab has been disconnected and is gone. It made walking there unbearable.

Instead I go back to the building and try to walk around the parking lot. I run into a guy that works in my building, but whom I don't know, also walking. He asks me if I noticed the truck. Blah, blah, blah, I observe that said truck is making the whole area smell like a dead body. He objects that "no, that's not right, a dead body has a very distinct smell and if you'd ever smelled one then you wouldn't mix that up with the garbage smell that's coming from the truck." I laugh uncomfortably and say "Oh, it just smells to me a lot like a dead possom I once had to clean up, that's why I said that. Guess I was wrong." He actually continued this by saying "No, that smell is definitely garbage, thankfully, a decaying body isn't the kind of smell you'd ever mix up with something else."

Um ok, that's more information than I needed.
