something happened with the wind so that Anchorage did not receive ash fall. many people were disappointed as hell, as we were awakened at 1 am and told to seal our vents, windows, and all electronic devices. Oh, and to also call all relatives in order to make sure they don't freak the fuck out. Right now, ashfall has been reported all over, including wasilla. There is going to be a wind change thursday or friday so anchorage may still receive ashfall. :(
