I'm watching Thursday's Colbert Report, where he had on Michael Behe. Michael Behe just made me throw the remote.
I feel I want to make this clear, everyone:
CHARLES DARWIN IS NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO EVER STUDIED EVOLUTION.
Chuck was a brilliant thinker who, even in the absence of a lot of the information we have now, conceived of an mechanism that would explain the diversity, distribution, and characteristics of life on earth. We've been STUDYING IT EVER SINCE. Evolution is a dynamic field; we do not run around beating people with "The Origin of Species" and repeating passages from it.
Proving that Charles Darwin made a mistake, or that there was information he didn't know, does not actually discredit evolution in any way.
Don't make me throw a remote at you.
