♠ Lawdy, my dreams have been ridiculous and stressful the last few days. I feel a million times better than I did last week, but all this waking up at 4:30am business really needs to stop.
♠ SUPERNOVA NEXT WEEK, FUCK YES. Tenative plan is to go in civvies on Friday evening, maybe meet Ariel there - go with friends on Saturday as Apollo - take my nieces there on Sunday as Kyon. Still need to call people about this! Also buy a decent camera, lul.
♠ Someone help I've been captured by Pokemon again! You'd think after playing the game for hundreds of hours as a kid I wouldn't be so crazy about it, BUT APPARENTLY NOT. Sobsob. Current team is all named after Paradisa people.
♠ And on the flipside, despite giving it a red-hot go...idk, I just don't want to play FFXIII anymore. I feel bad, because I promised myself long ago that I would finish every FF game and I really like the characters, but the gameplay is just...so so linear. FFX was in a straight line as well, true, but it didn't feel like it was so much. You had a branching skill tree, and you could run back and forth and get into random battles, and there were actual towns and shops rather than just savepoints every five steps. Compared to that, you might as well not even be controlling the characters on the maps as they walk forward, considering it is always in a completely straight line forward. No sidequests, barely any control over how you level your characters, and for god's sake...the battles practically play themselves. AUTO-BATTLE. AUTO-SPEECH TO NPCS. AUTO-JUMP OVER OBSTACLES. I honestly think they might as well have made a long movie, for much control is out of the player's hands.
♠ BUT ON A POSITIVE/NEGATIVE NOTE: My Oblivion disc is still completely broken. I think I will swap it since they've cleaned it like five times at the game store, while I trade in FF13. KIKU DO YOU WANT ALL THE FANCY EXTRA FF13 STUFF OR SHOULD I SELL IT.
♠ And continuing on the subject of games...I really should finish Spirit Tracks. And Investigations. And Raidou. S-sob.
♠ And in RP-related news! I picked up Yukari at both paradisa and discedo. Still feeling pretty burnt out with Apollo, but I'm kind of laissez-faire about RP in general right now, really.
♠ Been hanging out with my Yosuke a lot more, too! His roommate had a hard-drive filled with stuff, so now I have 2 seasons of Metalocalypse, The IT Crowd, Arrested Development, Death Note, the live-action Tick series, and some other stuff on here. Delicious new music, too. :9
♠ IMPORTANT THING: This is Tripod, an Australian comedy-song trio. Do you guys want me to zip up two albums of their stuff and put it up somewhere?
♠ I THINK THAT'S ALL. Promise I'll get to those fics once I can actually write something that isn't RP tags, durhur.
