God, I love this game so much. Even in screencap form, the ending moves me. Such a wonderful story; thank you for sharing the adventure!

On the Solid Arm front, I beat him using a really cheap strategy (copied from GameFAQs where I first found it; it's only in recent years that I ever got to the secret dungeon:

The second [strategy] is slightly more difficult to do, but much more effective. At the start of the fight, walk right up to the beginning of the middle conveyor belt, but not on it. Immediately use telekinesis to block the fireballs shot your way. Then swing the flute once. It should connect. If not, you are too far away. Don't get too close, or the conveyor belt will pick you up and run you right into the enemy. After one hit, block again. Then hit again. Rinse and repeat. Eventually, the fireballs blocked will push Will away very slowly. When this happens, walk up a hair to get back into position. Again, avoid getting caught by the belt.

Also, it took me forever to find the Psycho Slide place under the stairs ( ... )

Hahaha man I died against Dark Gaia so many times, and then I remembered HEY, I CAN MELT INTO THE FLOOR. WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN DOING THAT.

After that it was much easier. :B

Oh boy :D

I wonder why they put a statue of him in there, though. :O If he was just their hero or what. I wonder what he did.

OH YEAH. ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS CLICK YOUR HEELS THREE TIMES AND
hahahhahahaah

Still though. Doing all that adventuring did get you the statues. And the levels (which I assume will make it easier to defeat any enemies in the tower). And you accomplished some good stuff.

Plus, a comet isn't really a "star". Just throwing that out there.

WHAT did the dark space lead to the boss, instead of Gaia? D:

Is he changing into the shadow without going to see Gaia now? :O

OH BOY HERE IT COMES :D

Heeeyyyy, I called it! And no wonder he was always changing his face, I guess, if he's a shapeshifter anyway.

Which brings us back to here. You don't actually GET anything for defeating Solid Arm, aside from satisfaction.

Well... that's too bad. :< Looks like you would have been better off not getting those last few jewels for him.

...Ohhhhhhh. :< Poor kids.

DARK GAIAD: Woah ( ... )

I'd like to imagine that Freedan was some great hero when he was alive, and he got immortalised by Gaia in exchange for acting as her guardian or whatever. :D

IT WAS ALL A DREEEEEEEAAAMMMM

Well, yeah. But still! All that slavery. :(

Yeah, geez. I can handle a comet being called a star - that's standard RPG stuff - but it being responsible for the EVOLUTION OF THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE ahsdfksd

Huh? Um, no, I don't think so...Dark Spaces only ever led to Gaia. The Neo bosses are reached through the big blue doors.

He was! Will finally starts to get full control of his powers.

Haha, yeah. But then I wouldn't have shown you guys everything in the game!

Dark Gaia DOES look awesome, huh?

Haha, I think Will (and maybe Kara) may have retained their memories of everything (and maybe the others, I dunno), and gotten them...maybe combined with their new lives? Although they MAY have been plopped into 199X with no knowledge. Nice move, Gaia. :B

Yeah... but that would have been there whether he'd gone through all that or not. :X

I KNOW I mean come on, how would that even work? I guess it's magic but STILL.

Oh, okay. :O

Sweeeet. :D

:B Well, I guess when I said "you", I really meant Will. I mean, the player gets an extra dungeon but it kind of sucks for the character, if you see what I mean.

I hope so! Otherwise that's... really not much of a reward for saving the world.

LOVELY FREEDAN STATUES FOR YOUR HOME AND GARDEN HERE AT HOME DEPOT wait what

Huh, that's kind of obscure. With the lasers and the ring in the flute and stuff. I MEAN, MOST PEOPLE TEND TO AVOID LASERS unless they're invisible before or something

Whoa, wasn't expecting the jeweler's "secrets" to be another dungeon and boss fight :O Or that you don't actually get anything. you wacky ol' jeweler
And dang, that fight DOES look hard.

Aw, it's nice they let you talk to the spirits and stuff :B THEY'RE NOT COMPLETELY GONE

That's right. We're actually fighting the Comet.
Oh, this reminds me of this one game where you wind up battling the Earth at the end. I can't remember the name but IT WAS COOL 8D I saw it on YouTube somewhere.

Whooooaaaaa Dark Gaia is cool.

I can't even think of anything to say about the ending except "wow." It has a very mystical sort of feel to it, that's for sure. Our world feels almost foreign after that :O

Awwww, the credits. HI EVERYONE

Thank you, kind sir! :> This is another game I must add to my "Need to ( ... )

ONLY 29.99? ONLY 29.99?! I'D BUY ONE!

Haha yeah, but this is WILL. He's so tough by now he just rebounds off them.

A tiny, tiny dungeon and a mega-hard boss fight, yeah. TOTALLY WORTH ALL THAT JEWEL-SEARCHING THANKS ILLUSION OF GAIA

Yeah, it's nice. Seth is still all academic, even in death. <3

Oh man, that sounds familiar. What WAS that?

Dark Gaia is pretty darn badass, too. I didn't manage to catch her doing the BLAAARGH green laser though, because I was too busy hiding and panicking. :B

It's a good ending for a good game. :)

Awesome! MY JOB HERE IS DONE

Wow, it's over. Wow. What a good game.

My line, when I realized that time was passing too quickly for them to return to their world, was when I heard the line 'The passage of time in the Tower of Babel is different. Time races by...' or something like that. That's when I realized that they wouldn't come out and see the same world they had left. Which I don't know, is bad or good. It's a one-way time machine.

I beat Solid Arm, and I have the screencap to show it, if you want. I used a bagelzillion save states, but I did it.

WAIT WAIT WAIT. WHAT? If time is passing by so quickly, and hundred of years are passing, does this mean the comet would have come hundred of years in the future? Oh man.

The epilogue...I'll never forget it. It may be grey...but it's our world. Sad, as well as happy at the same time.

Congratulations on making it through the whole game!

Isn't it, though? :D

That was the same with me; that whole vauge spiel that really gave the impression that 'this is it, you will never go back to your world. Everyone you know is dead and you will be living in a strange and alien world'.
God, that's depressing. :S

Oh, really? Awesome! I guess I just suck. :(

MAN, WHO KNOWS. Crazy comet antics.

Thank you! It was fun.
