I don't know why, but I'm really amused by the angels' constant "|(" expressions.

Oh dang, Kara actually isn't so bad, now. SPOILED PRINCESSES NEED TO GET TRAPPED IN PAINTINGS MORE OFTEN, I SAY!

Hahahaha, I also thought of Earthbound as soon as that person mentioned heat stroke :B WHO KNEW THAT GAME WOULD ALTER THE WORLD'S PERCEPTION OF (certain) MEDICAL AILMENTS

And wow, this IS a pretty gloomy update :< why you gotta be like that lilly

It's even funnier if you think of Will or Erik just going :D next to them.

IT'LL DO 'EM A WORLD OF GOOD, BOY HOWDY
Although there was actually a 'something trapped in a painting' bit in the first game in this series, Soul Blazer. Why did I forget to mention that? :B

IT'S ALL THAT ANDONUTS BOY'S FAULT WITH HIS CONSTANT HEATSTROKE >:|

Oh, and apparently they're vampires.

Well, that might explain Tweedledum and Tweedledee from the last boss battle :P

You may not need money yet, but soon...

And of course Jem is hanging around the potentially lethal drinking game. WHY DID I NOT NOTICE HIS NEFARIOUS WAYS BEFORE.

Hey yeah it just might! :D

Haha, of course. How RPG is that?
Hero: Pfft, I don't need to do this. Why would I ever need to do this?
Game: HEY TO ADVANCE YOU NEED TO DO THAT EVEN THOUGH YOU WOULD NEVER NEED TO DO IT OTHERWISE
Hero: ...

He's a tricky one, that Gem.

It's really good to see a game with character development. This game has a story, and a well done one, at that. Defintely one of the reasons I like it. :)

I did do the drinking game gambling thing. 'tis really creepy, but it makes sense.

The story is what makes Illusion of Gaia really stand out to me, too. No offence to Final Fantasy, but half the characters in that never, ever change even slightly. Seeing a game where the characters - 15 year old kids, mind - mature and grow over this huge journey is a real treat.

You can do that? :O I'll do it when I get back to Watermia, I guess.

Okay, I've already played through this game, so I knew this was going to happen, but let me know, guys: did anyone not see this coming?

Well... I didn't. :B

Oh, and apparently they're vampires.

Hahahhaa what

"Once a human woman named Kara came here."
I guess they have a weird sense of time, too?

...They used to be human, then? So I guess this is like Pokemon evolution, not actual evolution.

I've heard the Onett police are thinking of using these, just to show the kids they aren't messing around.

*sneeeeeerrrrrrk*

"What th- OH GODDAMNIT"

Of COURSE, so it's like the Picture of Dorian Grey, only not. I wonder if all the angels' souls are inside their portraits, then, or if being angels gives them protection.

...So, take a screenshot basically?

Will's hair is blowing about in this room. It is otherwise completely indentical. That Ishtar is a tricky bastard.Dude what. :O ( ... )
