Update: Miscellany
Yea, though I walk through the shadow of the valley of two exams and an essay due within the span of a week, I shall fear no evil...
Yeah, so I'm kinda busy right now. Not too busy to not make rockstar-AU Lana Skye rock the fuck out to Muse, but still. Busy.
(And on the topic of RPing, I dabbled in pokedressing and smashdressing, but...I found the former was very noobish - people using emoticons while in-character and such - and the latter just moves too damn fast. Perhaps (haha. 'Perhaps'.) I'm just a snob, but I believe that a character doesn't need to post more than one topic on the main page. You can wait between things, guys! It's okay!
So yeah, pwdressingroom for me. RPING AS LAWYERS > RPING AS ANYTHING ELSE.)
Anyway. I figure since it's been nearly a fortnight since my birthday, I should post a list! I got:
- A whole bunch of money. About...$220 dollars!
- A used PS2. (Bought with the money.)
- Final Fantasy X. (Ditto.)
- Final Fantasy XII. (Ditto.)
- A drinking-board-game-dealie called Pass-Out which clearly isn't going to be used. Seems to be a roll-the dice, draw a card (which has a tongue twister on it) deal.
- Indiana Jones figurine. Apparently, my gayness for Indy is so well-documented that someone who only knew me for a month knows it.
- APOLLO JUSTICE! Nicole is sending it to me allll the way from England, so I don't have it yet, but still! :D :D :D
- And, next time I see Tyson, I'm gonna get a copy of Soul Calibur III from him! :D
All in all, pretty good.
(Edit because I somehow forgot to say this: Oh my god the new Indiana Jones movie was the best thing ever I fucking SQUEALED when Old Snake Indy showed up and oh god so awesome askflhkkjsfn)
In other news, I've been forcing myself to break out of the habit of stopping games when they get near the end and ACTUALLY finishing them. So lately, I have actually FINISHED Quest for Glory 1, Mother 3, Soul Blazer, Pikmin (again), and Summon Night 2! All I have left on my list now is Pokemon Leafgreen and those two Final Fantasies up there. Kinda weird, not having ten million things on the go at once. :B
And just so this post isn't entirely useless...
THE VOTING POST FOR MY NEXT SCREENCAP ADVENTURE WILL GO UP ON JUNE 12TH, AT THE VERY LATEST.
I have the choices picked out already. So, look forward to that! :D
