For now, I've got so much work-life balance that I find myself reaching home when everyone's still out. Took quite a bit of inertia for me to get out for a run but when I return half an hour later, I'm still the only one who's returned home. It's almost 8pm and I think I'm the only one at home besides the maids. Even my ah mah's out, probably for her casino trips.
And I'm pampered enough to have my laundry, meals and grocery settled for. No more juggling housework with working life.
Now I feel so loser for being the only one at home. Either not working hard enough or that I've got no social life. But ain't complaining because the honeymoon training period will end after 2+ months. It's just that I feel weirdly underworked. Though I doubt I'm a workaholic.
Anyway, today marks the end of the 3-day induction course and glad that we talked more to people from other divisions. I couldn't locate the AOs in the canteen before work, so I ended up sitting with a table of cadet pilots. *raise brow* Can't help feeling very young, they're probably 5+ years older. In fact, I'm probably one of the youngest there, and labelled a 'freshie'. Might as well, quells my recent fears of ageing.
Hooray. Koupapa to the rescue. He came up asking me to join him for dinner. He also finds the empty house unsettling lol.
