When Sirius saw the flyer, he couldn't help but grin. He'd just realised yesterday how much he needed a job, and here there was an opening for the perfect one. Somebody up there liked him, clearly. At least for the moment.

Sirius had always been somewhat casual about working, as his inheritance meant he'd never really needed a job. He wasn't sure how one went about getting a job one actually needed. Did a bartender need a CV? Probably not, he decided, but he did wash his clothes and clean himself up a bit before going to see this Adam.

There was the problem. Perhaps 'see Adam' meant something to someone else, but this was a bloody big manor and he had no idea where to find the boy. He decided he'd have to go ask at the front, but he waited until day as he doubted Adam would appreciate being woken up at night and he wasn't ready to let Remus in on his job search.

Clutching a torn down flyer in hand, he went in search of Adam.

And as was the way of things, Adam tended to be right where people could find him if they wanted to. As he turned the corner, he spotted the man, flyer in hand. He smiled. "Hallo, Sirius."

Yeah. There was something odd about that Adam, Sirius could tell that much. But he seemed harmless enough, so Sirius didn't see why it should be any of his business.

"Hey, I was just looking for you," he said, although he had a feeling Adam knew that somehow. He gestured to the flyer. "If you've still got an opening, I'm your man."

Well, he was. It wouldn't even occur to him to think that there might be more qualified applicants.

Adam grinned. "An' you know all 'bout makin' Muggle drinks and everythin'? And you'll work a reg'lar schedule?"
