Date: January 25th, 2001
Status: Private (War, Mictain)
Setting: Mictain’s Room
Summary: War challenges Mictain

War was fed up. She’d been in a bad mood all over the festive season: some years, everyone had used it as an excuse for mass outbreaks of fighting, just because there were big religious festivals going on. She was especially fond of the religious wars, too - not that she was going to shout that around in the Manor - because once they’d started, they never really ended. This year, however, had been exceptionally dull - worse than that, since Ethiopia and Eritrea had signed a peace treaty after two years of fighting on the 12th December, and peace talks between Israel and Syria had started up again - and she’d purposefully avoided all the festivities in the Manor, not wanting to have people ask her what she’d been up to when the answer was, seemingly, not a lot of any visible result.

In essence, regardless of anything else that was going on or had been occupying her attention, she was still War, and there hadn’t been any exciting fighting for a good while: which is why she found herself, having remembered their conversation at the barbecue, outside Mictain’s room, knocking sharply twice on the door.

war, mictain
