Crush-Driven Watching

What do Fringe and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles have in common? For me, here it is: I watch them mainly because of Joshua Jackson and Lena Headey. I'm so happy that I get to see Josh on my TV again, however it is a tight match between John Krasinki and him. Josh plays Pacey, er, I mean, Peter Bishop in the series, which is, notably, also created by J.J. Abrams. Fringe is about "fringe science" such as suspended animation, psychokinesis, dark matter, etc. It brought out some decent ratings but not more than what it was expected to do. Here's to more TV longevity for Josh. Because I love him and I missed him, heh.

As for the Terminator: TSCC, I've downloaded the eps and I have to say that it's pretty good too. I also just think that Lena is preeetty, and therefore, worthy of my 45 minutes. She's not exactly built like Linda Hamilton but she has the intensity to pull it off. It's strange to hear her American accent but the acting is good. I am not really a fan of the Terminator series but I thought that the episodes were well-paced, smart, and entertaining. Summer Glau is convincing as the Terminator.

Oh, and I just have to add that Pushing Daisies is also really good. Lee Pace, Kristen Chenoweth, Anna Friel, and Chi McBride are in there. Lee and Anna are fantastic, and I love love love Jim Dale as the narrator. When Emerson Cod (Chi McBride) rolls his eyes at Ned (Lee Pace) and Chuck (Anna Friel), it brings joy to my heart. I always love good eyerolls. The series has a whimsical feel to it, the sets are brightly colored, it's well-acted, and sometimes the characters break into song, hee. LOVE.
