Lessons Learned
The last two episodes of One Tree Hill were above average. Especially the last one, very emotional. It was a mix of the fun stuff that got me hooked in the first place: Leyton, Brooke and Peyton being friends, basketball. Good stuff like the Ravens being state champs and Leyton! Of course it was counterbalanced with the accident and Lucas' heart attack. I have to give props to James, grabe, naiyak ako because of his reaction to Haley. AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! I can't handle this!!!! And I got amazing music from those last two eps courtesy of Ray LaMontagne, Jackson Waters, and Mat Kearney. How I love.
Barry Corbin's speech in ep 408 was top notch material. I was really pulled in by that one, had that lump in my throat.
As for Haley being run down by the car, it looked real. So props to the director, I guess. But more props to BJG for pulling off every scene effortlessly -- I especially loved that little moment where she says, "It's a boy." Bah, NO ONE in the cast will be able to act as good as her.
As much as I like Leyton, I wish that they could've slept on it? For a while? Since it was only a few eps that Lucasss was talking about getting back together with Brooke? Whatevs. And I get distracted with CMM's manicured hands. I know, why do I notice these kinds of things?
