dear new york gypsy fest,
way to be lame and want me to be 21 years of age and possess a valid form of identification thus depriving me of a chance to see gogol bordello and kultur shock. screw you.
sincerely,
liz locke
ps: i will find a way!
paul and i went to poughkeepsie for julie vanderlee's 17th birthday party on saturday and sunday. it was such a long train ride! but it was pretty fun and ended up being a weekend well spent. when we came home we went to outspoken and (oh wow!) there were actually other people there! there were about 17 people there, in fact, which suprised us both. these four or five kids were from this one school for kids with "emotional troubles" and they were pretty much the nicest people ever. one of the girls used to go to our school. i think her name was kristi. anyway, she was really pretty and really funny. we hung out with them a bit after the meeting and joked about body piercing (i called kristi and paul the boy scouts because paul had his piercing needles and alcohol swabs with him and kristi had her clamps so they were ready to do piercings right then and there in the parking lot.)
arabic class rocks so much. mr. eldigwy is a hilarious man.
i realized how few friends i'm going to have after this year when sam, nate, aly, and skids graduate. paul is pretty much the only person i'm friends with aside from them. i need more friends. D: what can i do? i'm just not good at finding common ground with people. ugh.
