Here come the fuzz!
That movie is such a "party movie". So much laughter it was like being in the theater all over again. So LOUD...that movie's made to be cranked especially with the wonderfully over-exaggerated sound effects.
In the back of my head I worried that the movie, somehow, just might not hold up as well to a repeated viewing but...damn...it's still amazing. I still don't like it as much as "Shaun" but that's just a personal thing, mind you, because Hot Fuzz IS a near perfect piece of wildly fun filmmaking and I will own up to the fact that it's actually a better movie than Shaun on an overall level.
Thanks Eva for hosting and Meghann for spending a somewhat ridiculous amount of money for that movie and obtaining it so quickly. I knew you liked the movie but didn't know you liked it that much...Now I really want to get it...argh. My hats off to you and consider my new icon a wink in your direction.
P.S. Is it just me or is 2007 the best year for movies I've seen in quite a while.
