It may have been a little trite, but Chris loved Halloween.

Which was why he was taking advantage of having the evening off to decorate the manor.

There were fake cobwebs, tissue paper ghosts, some pumpkins and lots of fall flowers.

Chris figured as long as the ghosts stayed two dimensional, it would be a win.

Summer glanced at the decorations, her eyebrow raised. That was followed by a smirk. "You really are just like your mom."

"You say that like it's a bad thing," Chris retorted with a smirk of his own.

"You're not as scary as her," Summer replied, reaching for a witch decoration. Snickering, she said, "Isn't this a stereotype?"

It was an old, scary witch with a wart on her nose.

Chris shrugged. "Yeah, and I bet Aunt Phoebe would give me hell for it," he admitted. "But I figure it's better than Wyatt deciding to wallpaper the house with photos of himself."

"Good point," Summer said, still chuckling. "So, do you want any help with this? I happen to be very knowledgeable about spider web decor."

She was not.

"I would love some help. Would you mind getting up on the step stool and fixing the web over that doorway?"

Chris may have had an ulterior motive for getting her to climb on the step stool.

"Are you trying to tell me I'm vertically challenged?" Summer asked, amused. Which was fair, since she was.

She stood up on the stool and began to straighten out the fake webs.

"Not at all," Chris said, taking a step back so he could check her out. "Little to the left," he said.

Summer moved the web to the left as instructed. "You're totally one of those OCD types who need things to be perfect, huh?"
