Had a pretty decent weekend. Friday morning I got everything set up for Chevy's tent sale and besides a few minor problems, computers worked fine. After work I called Spencer about hanging out but had to wait to hear back what the plan to hang out was so I went to a Wal-mart to look around. Ended up buying P.S. I love you because I really felt in the mood for a nice romcom. Eventually things got late waiting to hear back from Spencer was I decided to head back home, throw in the movie and pack some more of my stuff. Gawd I really do love that movie. Only ended up watching half of it though before turning in for bed. Saturday I didn't have to work because my boss decided to come up and work and let me have it off (my boss is an awesome guy). So Saturday I went shopping/browsing with mom and Traci. We stopped at several different thrift and furniture/mattress stores to items for my apartment. All I ended up getting was a vacuum from a Salvation Army for $15, which isn't bad because it works quite well actually. Also found a cocktail table I really like and will probably get at some time or another. We we got done with all that I had to head back to work to take care of closing and while I hung out in my office, waiting for close, I noticed a couple of what looked like bug bites and thought 'well this sucks...'. As the night went on though it got worse -_-;;. So I thought to myself 'Alright when I get home I'll take some benadryl, finish watching P. S. I love you[OMGZ there was a deleted scene that, had they left it in the movie, would have had me crying and laughing so much, the deleted scene was Gerry reserving the Ireland trip tickets] and it will get better'. It didn't. Sunday I practiced with Melinda for SoonerCon in two weeks. Went well I think. Hopefully we'll be able to get in more practice time. Afterwards I went by the Wal-Mart on Kenosha and looked around at the furniture there and found the bedside table I want but it's $50 so I decided to forgo that for the moment and found bookshelves on sale and bought two of those to place in the living room on opposite sides on the entertainment center for figures/guides/games/movies. Stopped by the Vintage Stock and got the second issue of Army of Darkness Xena Warrior Princess and while there saw Johnathon, who looked completely different with no hair!! :O After all that I hung out with KB for a bit helping her pack/smash things and then go and buy allergy medicine. Later met up with Sarah, blindfolded her and drove her to a surprise to see the rose garden which was fun. Talked about how I should go out there and steal a rose bush for my apartment patio lol. After all that took her home and headed home myself to take more benadryl, pack a bit and collapse asleep. Sadly I wasn't able to stay such long because I woke up later hurting all over from the allergies (Grrrrr.....). BUT I was able to get back to sleep eventually.
Today's been alright. Earlier I went to the doctor's office to get checked out. All they really did was ask me a couple of questions, look me over, agree that I'm having an allergic reaction and prescribe me steriods to take with the benadryl I'm already taking. Hopefully I'll get better soon.
