This post is for my parents and Daveed, who think that I have died because I haven´t updated lately.
I´ve been in Antigua for a couple days for a little vacation. The timing of this trip was coincidental to everyone in Sharon´s house getting sick with a virus. I left just in time to keep from getting it. Hopefully by Monday it will have run its course and I won´t have to go back to the doctor.
I love Antigua but I hadn´t realized how accustomed I am to quiet Panajachel. The thing that gave me a squeal of delight was that they have a real grocery store here with check out lanes and everything. And tonight I had the most scrumptious enchiladas at Frida´s Restaurant. It´s the little things in life that matter, know what I mean?
Time has slipped by very quickly and I´m sad that only a couple weeks remain. Maybe I´ll do a mega-post later on - amazing experiences and people here in Guat. For now, though, I´m still alive and kicking, hoping that these last couple weeks slow down a bit.
