On a related note, I headed down to Utar County last night to see the bittervillager in the Vajayjay Monolouges with Keem. (I can't believe I never saw it in NY when I lived there). We sat front row and (almost) center with Bitter's hubby. At the end they had all the abuse survivors stand up. It was really pretty neat-o. It was a fun night, complete with hilarious stories afterwards complements of the company I kept. And it was great to finally meet the infamous Bitter Villager. If the stars align we could end up a few hours from each other next year in another part of the country. Cross your fingers.
It was strangely good to be on UVSC campus. I thought of Keem and how much it must suck to work where she does. And how drastically different the two places can be. UVSC is such a great thing for Utah County. In a way it made me excited about next fall. I'm gonna do all the things I never did the first time around, be involved in things I wasn't ready for in my early 20s. Yay!
