It is odd...
happening upon old friends...
after several years of their absence from my life...
not having a word to say to them except for the universally accepted greeting for this type of social moment: "Hey, how have you been?"
there really shouldn't be any comparison between how I've changed and how they've changed...yet I impose this assessment upon myself every time this happens...
I suppose I like to know how well I've done since last seeing them...and the case usually ends up being...not very.
this can only change if I make it change...
