I've never really had much direction career wise, in my GCSE options I just did what I enjoyed - Graphic Design, Textiles and Art, I worked super hard to get out of anything that might be considered academic, I even took Health & Social Care so that I wouldn't have to do a language ( Read more... )

The few days has made me realise why it is that people actually become parents. Since we've upped the Zantac dosage Declan has gone from okay to absolutely fabulous, he wakes up smiling and pulling at my hair, amuses himself in the bouncer or high chair, is completely happy to just sit and watch everybody and the most significant difference - he ( Read more... )

Chatting to my Dad this morning he told me that an Aussie guy came in so he of course started talking to him, explained that I lived over here and all that, the guy says he's a Sydneysider and asks where I live. Well 2 hours later and we’re home again.

That’s right. She’s in labour but apparently not in labour “enough” for the hospital.

They gave her some drugs and some sleeping tablets to help her get some rest.

She’s currently zonked out in bed getting aforementioned rest.
