I had an interesting night. Late at night, not having had dinner yet, I decided to head over to Nation's, being one of my only options at that point in time. I stepped outside and reached for my keys, so that I could lock the deadbolt, only to realize that I had exited without them. Fortunately, knowing that the wait at Nation's tends to be a bit long, I had brought a book with me. And so, after several hours at Nation's finishing my book and them a couple more hanging out listening to the radio (I also, fortunately, had car keys) while waiting outside of Joanne and Dave's house for them to wake up, I am now back inside my house.
I've often heard it said that some of the most brilliant people in history also tend to be eccentric, absent-minded or just plain crazy. I can at least take solace in these events that maybe I'm just enough of a mess to pretty smart.
