Fuck being 16, 18, and 19.
20 is the age for me. This is the first time in my life where I get to experience all the social boundaries I'm willing to throw myself against. A change in the roster of my friends has allowed me to meet some pretty bad-ass kids, but I had to say "au revoir" to a few as well.
Saddening, yes. But do I think they understand why? Of course not.
My days have gone from working, to sitting outside of grocery stores with friends, to clubbing it up like a madman, and pretty soon I'll be in school again. My recent birthday party on the 13th showed me a lot of faces of people I can and cannot trust, and memories I thought were long gone.
Of course I lost my camera in the process, but since I wanted to upgrade it's no biggie.
I've got new friends, new clothes, and a new ringtone.
