Title: Symmetry, of a Sort

Disclaimer: Not mine, which is sad. Supernatural belongs to CW.
Notes: Sort of an AR, in which everything is totally the same, but also completely different.

( Breath hitching, wheezing, his fingers scramble for purchase on the rough wood above. Splinters have embedded themselves, made homes of his palms and underneath of his nails, but it’s a distant thing. )

I am fairly certain that having this theme means we are awesome. We would, therefore, be shirking inconceivable responsibilty if we failed to recognize as much :)

And I think I said this over at dean/castiel, but I'm really glad you liked it! Posting this has been unbelievably nerve-wracking (mayhaps I suffer from a weak constitution), so I really appreciate it! Thanks again!!

This was very vivid, and intriguing, and I'm searching for clues as to what's going on, and how things have changed. The salt on the train, Government IDs for hunters, all very, very interesting.

And Cas, what a sweetie. Whose child is he? and the angel had to be Dean. Who else has got those green eyes. And Sam. That big and awkward, he must be Sam Winchester.

I'm looking forward to finding out where you go with this.

Thank you so much! This was partly just me wondering what things would be like after all the demonic exposure during the almost-Apocalypse, how people would address it.

And I'm glad you like Cas (and that my hinting actually worked out in terms of the other characters...)! As for who's child he is, that'll come up in the next chapter :)

I read them in the wrong order, chapter 2 first, then this one, but it didn't take away from the awesome that is this story. I loved the way you put little details of things that are different in this future in there among everything else.

Also the first part, the getting out of a grave one, is perfect in so many ways.

Oh-ho, well I'm glad the story still worked in reverse! (which, technically, it kind of is in the first place...)Also glad you like the details, becuase I've been having maybe a bit too much fun making them up :)
