Charlie’s been droning on about some math concept, but that’s not the annoying part. What’s annoying is that he’s talking about the person who came up with the concept, the long list of examples of situations in which the math was used, and just on and on and on.
Don wonders if this is one of those ivory tower things, the residual effects of having spent so much time in a world where the way to getting laid was by reading books and regurgitating the facts to wide-eyed freshmen. Don rolls his eyes and sips his beer.
