Hi guys. Well this my first official live journal entry. These next several are going to be about my experiences in argentina so that all may read. When I finish that, I'll probably redo it in spanish so that if one of my friends from the way south comes across it They'll understand what I'm talking about. Here goes something because this probably wont be very long because in 10 minutes I have to do my room.
Well I arrived in the capital of Argentina on the 4 of August. It was the middle of winter so we all had jackets on. I still don't understand to do the season change because we came from Miami serious shorts and tank top wether to winter. Buenos Aires wasn't that cold. that at least waited until I got to Neuquen. I rememeber getting off the plane fairly early after a long night flight and everything was in spanish but I was surrounded by a bunch of Americans. That was probably the weirdest and hardest part because I'd here everything in Spanish but I was speaking in English. I felt like a tourist even though I new I wasn't. I actually got stuck in customs. That was scarey. See, the wonderful Chicago counsulat didn't give me the permission that I needed to enter the country and they held us. It was me and a few other people. They almost sent us home! I would have been pissed!!! I paid 6,000 dollars to do this.Well anyway they didn't and when I finally got through customs they all cheered and I was greeted by an AFS volunteer. Well I hate to do this but I'll continue the story later.
Bye
