Here's a pic of the shortbread I mentioned from Easter weekend at my Aunt's house in St. Cloud, have I mentioned she's super cool? Like, liberal motivated & doing stuff? She writes articles for papers, volunteers on the radio, helps her daughter/my cousin w/her kids so my cousin can go to college? Plus: she makes amazing food. wow. Ok, yeah, I added the almonds & powdered sugar & took the photo: but the whole weekend I felt spoiled by all the good foods: from asparagus and brussle sprouts to yummy soups and fennel pork I'm always amazed by what Aunt Christy cooks up: absolutely splendid, so this photo's for you Christy!
