LEX 18 has learned that a body found floating in the Ohio River Wednesday is that of a Kentucky man.
Four marina employees discovered the body Wednesday afternoon at the Rivertowne Marina in Cincinnati. It was later identified as 23-year-old Jason Wayne Harmon of Corbin. Harmon's mother reported him missing to Kentucky State Police on Monday, saying he hadn't been seen since Saturday when he was with some friends at a Cincinnati nightclub.
Police are still trying to figure out how Harmon and his car wound up in the river. They hope to find some clues when the car is removed from the river Thursday. Police say there aren't any obvious signs of foul play and that it is possible Harmon could have accidentally gone off the road and into the river.
