Title: The Misplaced Agent Affair Chapter 30/?

Notes: Three things: 1) I've decided to dust off a few early art pieces to post in some of the chapters just because I feel like it. This chapter's piece is a very old one called, "Temptation". 2) Previous chapters of this fic are being added to AO3. 3) Many years ago I received this note from the son of a real-life person mentioned in Chapter 2. It still makes me smile to this day:

Hello, Romanse, I just wanted to let you know that I was delighted to
discover (via google alert) your mention of my father, Leonard
Scherlis M.D., in "The Misplaced Agent Affair Part 3."
And your mention was very appropriate to my dad's intent. He
certainly didn't discover "closed chest massage," which had been
mentioned in medical documents for generations. But he did push the
populist agenda of making this technique available to everyone, not
simply the medical establishment.
So thanks very much for that. My father died over a year ago,and
this was a pleasant reminder of him, and his values.
And also, of course, your work brings back memories of watching "The
Man from U.N.C.L.E." when I was young, and that sort of show could be
aired without irony.
