Only the ones that have the capacity to...although I'm sure there have been some regrets in being the weak of the bunch and getting caught. Not very many animals have the cognitive development to reason a complex feeling like regret. Although new findings happen all the time...we've just learned that crustaceans feel pain and get stressed out learning from the experience by trying to avoid it. These bring into play the way we treat these creatures, putting them in overcrowded tanks in stores, and cooking them alive or ripping their appendages off alive before cooking. More than ten different tool were found made by chimpanzees in the wild to harvest honey, the biggest toolbox outside the human race, and proof that these cousins are able to plan complex strategies and steps to get something they want, and honey is worth it.
