Blarg. What to update?
Christmas was ok. Boring, but that's better than awful, right? We just watched movies all day. I made David a matching scarf and hat, as well as a random quilted pillow, got him some "build your own monster" things, and bought him two DS games that are STILL not here. Weird. He got me some new girly boots, the Law and Order Computer Game, Dane Cook on DVD, a bat-shaped thing on which to hang jewelry, and PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN 2. Meanwhile, our parents collectively sent us that DS (early) with 2 games, Law and Order seasons 2 and 3, as well as House and CSI. We bought a lot of presents, and David STILL has not sent the box. I busted my ass finishing the last present for my family, so it could be mailed on Wednesday, which was later than I wanted anyway...and it's STILL sitting in the truck. So I hope everyone likes presents in July, because that's when it looks like they'll get them if I wait on him. Anyway....
New Years should have been cool but it sucked. I didn't feel good and wanted to stay home, but David had a MIGHTY NEED to go see his friends, who I don't like, at clubs, which I also don't like. So I sat home alone while some broad lost David's cell phone. Cool Part: EVERY PERSON in my neighborhood must have had fireworks, because the whole town got swamped with a smoke cloud and the ENTIRE SKY was covered. It was awesome. It would have been more awesome had I not been alone, but that seems to be a recurring theme.
I finally got the car on Wednesday. I suppose that was more important than mailing that package, but he didn't mail it Thursday, either. Anyway, the car is good. I, on the other hand, suck. I've stalled it out like 15 times, but conversely, I took it on the Autobahn successfully. I can now honestly say I do 100 on the highway, but that's sort of cheating because it's 100 KM not 100 miles. LOL I am a nerd. For anyone who cares, the car is a 1986 BMW 325E, which was allegedly the luxury model at the time. Now, with me driving it, it's going to be the Stalled-to-Crap Model pretty soon. I shouldn't be so hard on myself, though...I have never had to drive a manual and I've been told I'm doing well. I just don't FEEL like it because I am not automatically perfect at it. OH I guess I should mention: I took the USAREUR driver's test. (If you have a state-side liscence, you still have to have a special one for Europe, given through the Army.) Everyone was talking about how hard it was, and how some people have taken it so many times and still don't have their liscense...I took it ONCE and the guy went to grade it and went, "DANG" and I thought I failed hard....but I missed ONE. 99/100. So I got my liscense...although I quickly learned I need new glasses, as the eye-chart man looked really concerned when I tried to read it. Apparently, I read it well enough though because I do have my liscense, on the first try, with an almost perfect score. So to anyone who says I cannot drive well...take THAT! ^_^
I guess I don't have anything else to talk about..."things" are still weird, I thought they were getting better but they are getting worse again I fear, so who knows. Well, like I said, there isn't much to talk about...so I guess I will wait until there is.
OH PS: The dog has so far peed deliberately on our laundry, and on a box I had photos and scrapbooking items in. To say I was infuriated would be an understatement. She's currently outside. Anyway, she was housebroken and has only had accidents when we were not home to let her out, but these two times she did in deliberately. VERY Pointedly. Does anyone know WTF is going on and what I can do to fix it, or am I going to have to give her to a farm so she can run around outside all day and not pee on people's stuff?
