Weird Reception
I live in an area in Adelaide where wireless reception is fairly poor anyway, my internet usually goes on and off on a regular basis but my mobile is usually fairly stable. I don't have a land line so we rely on wireless usb modems for our internet. Since the wild and woolly weather we had over thursday to sunday our mobile reception has become next to nothing inside our home yet our internet has been good. We have discovered if we walk into the middle of our street we can get reception on our phones which means if we are home the only way we can communicate with the outside world at the moment unless we want to stand in the middle of the road is via the internet. I find this amusing because I live only 5km from the CBD, it's not like were in the boondocks, we are in almost a inner city suburb here.
